Massive game for Titans, says prop

ROTHERHAM prop Robin Hislop is confident his team can push on in the second half of the season and steal a top-four finish in the Greene King IPA Championship.

The Titans suffered a setback with a 22-8 defeat at Plymouth Albion last weekend, making Saturday's clash against Jersey at Clifton Lane crucial as they bid to close the eight-point gap between them and fourth-placed Nottingham.

The 22-year-old loosehead concedes that performances of late have been unconvincing, but believes Rotherham have a lot more to offer.

And Hislop, in his second season at the club after joining from Edinburgh, is relishing the battle up front against a physical Jersey side as he bids to prove exactly that.

"This weekend against Jersey is massive for us, a must-win, and they're very much a team on the up at the moment," he said.
