The Daily Express are reporting that Liverpool will continue their summer spending by matching the £32.5m buy-out clause in Aston Villa forward Christian Benteke's contract.

Arsenal are considering making a move for 27-year-old Barcelona forward Pedro - according to the Independent.

Toby Alderweireld is expected to join Southampton, where he spent last season on loan -  after Atletico Madrid failed to cancel the buy-out clause in the 26-year-old's contract in time. (Talksport)

Rotherham United have today been linked with a move for former Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest utility man Greg Halford.
