Stubbs rules out Cummings bid

ROTHERHAM United manager Alan Stubbs has reiterated the fact he will not be raiding former club Hibernian for prize asset Jason Cummings.

The Millers had once again been linked with the 20-year-old striker who netted 25 goals in 49 appearances last term.

Stubbs said at his official unveiling as Millers boss last month that he wouldn't find it 'morally right' to go back to his former employers and cherry pick players.

And speaking ahead of the club's first pre-season friendly against Parkgate on Saturday, Stubbs once again categorically denied there was any truth in the rumours.

He said: "I've said all along that I wouldn't go back to Hibs for players and I'm not about to change my mind on that.

"I know we've been linked to Jason over the last few days but it's (speculation) certainly not coming from us."
