Familiar face up next for Rotherham United ... a focus on Saturday opponents Bromley
He suffered with injuries and Millers fans got to see only glimpses of his talent.
An old boy is lying in wait as Rotherham United prepare to launch their 2026/27 FA Cup campaign this weekend.

The League Two Millers are making a long trip south to take on Bromley, from the division above, in a first-round tie on Saturday.
In the opposition ranks is Mickel Miller who spent two seasons at AESSEAL New York Stadium during the managerial reign of Paul Warne.
The winger suffered with injuries and Millers fans got to see only glimpses of his talent as he made nine Championship appearances in his first year and 30 more in 2021/22 as the club were promoted from League One.
Now aged 30, the Londoner was released and joined Plymouth Argyle before moving on to Huddersfield Town.
He became a Bromley player in the summer and has played 10 times so far this term, scoring one goal.
One to watch
Michael Cheek has been a prolific scorer for Bromley since joining them from Ebbsfleet in 2019, and he has found the net on 147 occasions in 328 appearances. He was on target 26 times in 46 games when the Ravens won promotion to the EFL in the 2024/25 campaign and another 16 goals, in 38 matches, followed last term as they marched straight through League Two into League One. Now aged 35, he has had a mix of starts and substitute outings this season and has hit the target twice in 16 fixtures.

Last clash
Rotherham were comfortable winners at home to Bromley in the FA Cup in November 2021. The Millers, who would go on to win promotion to the Championship that season, scored twice just before the break through Ben Wiles and Freddie Ladapo to take control of the first-round tie. Will Grigg wrapped up proceedings late on against the National League visitors.
Opposition boss
Assistant boss Byron Webster is in interim charge as Bromley look for a new manager, but Karl Robinson is set to be appointed. The man who led them out of non-league football into the fourth tier, Andy Woodman, was sacked last month after more than five years in charge.
Man in the middle
Sam Mulhall is in only his third season on the EFL list and will be taking charge of a Millers match for the second time. His first encounter was in April last season when he refereed the 2-0 League One home loss against Luton Town. This term, the Cheshire official's five outings have seen him issue 23 yellow cards and no reds.
The odds
The bookmakers reckon it will be Bromley who make it through to the second round, and they offering 23/20 on a home win. A Millers victory is 2/1 while a draw is 23/10.
