Services suspended after points failure at Rotherham

A points failure is causing disruption to services at Rotherham Central station, with all services via the station revised.

Northern Rail announced on X: “Services running through this station will be revised. Rotherham Central will not be served.”

The line which connects Sheffield and Doncaster also services Meadowhall and several other commuter towns.

Disruption is expected to continue until 3pm today.
