Player ratings and match stats from Rotherham United 3 Salford City 3
The Millers were the better side as they maintained their unbeaten league home record
Paul Davis gives his verdict on League Two proceedings at AESSEAL New York Stadium last weekend when Rotherham United drew 3-3 with Salford City.

Millers (3-5-2)
Julian Eyestone: 6
He picked the ball out of the net three times yet this was still an encouraging debut from the youngster. Nothing he could do about the Joe Powell 'worldie' or the penalty. Caught and kicked well. Importantly, he showed soft, sound hands, which is something Rotherham have been missing.
Denzel Hall: 7
A very competent display on the right of a back three. Showed good athleticism.
Sonny Aljofree: 7
Nearly an 8 for a young man growing in stature every week. Did all the basics well. His quality on the ball is a bonus.
Kieran Ngwenya: 7
A tough competitor with a bit of pace about him. Always let Salford know he was there.
Aaron Nemane: 5
Didn't make the most of his first start. A few flashes on danger on the right flank but not enough of them.
Josh Austerfield: 7
Covered a lot of ground. Can run from minute one to minute 90. Sometimes, his quality on the ball is really good. Sometimes, it's not quite what it needs to be. Overall, an effective performance. Did really to lose his man and make a couple of passes to set up the Millers' first goal.
Ossama Ashley: 8
The new boy has been threatening to play really well. On Saturday, it happened. Good with the ball, good without it. Deserved his goal. A big, big presence in midfield until he tired.
Brandon Cover: 7
Has taken advantage of the absence of Jamie Jellis and Kian Spence to really press his claim to be a regular starter. Puts in the effort, doesn't shirk a tackle and is starting to show more and more in possession. A lovely first-time finish brought him his first goal for the club.
Ewan Otoo: 8
Another game, another new position. Play him anywhere and he doesn't let you down. This time he was a left wing-back and he stood up well to the test of facing Salford's best player on the day, Luke Molyneux. Asked questions of the opposition when he was on the ball as well.
Paul Mullin: 7
A nerveless penalty - there's no-one you'd rather see take one - capped a decent performance by the striker. Showed for the ball, linked up play and came close to a goal with a sharp shot before his spot-kick.
Fabio Tavares (George Sebine 59): 5
Capable of great things but he was quiet in this match.
The subs
George Sebine (for Tavares 59): 6
He's big, he can run and he's got something. The teenage loanee knows how to get behind the defence, and he caused Salford trouble. He could be a real asset once his decision-making improves.
Jili Buyabu (for Nemane 66): 4
Lazy, immature defending cost Rotherham dear. There was simply no need to so obviously pull the shirt of an opponent in the box. It gifted the visitors a match-saving penalty on a day when the home side should have finished clear winners. Didn't do enough in attack to make amends.
Tom Bradshaw (for Mullin 66): 5
No lack of application but he didn't have the impact he would have wanted.
Emmanuel Adegboyega (for Ngwenya 78): NA
The centre-half made his biggest mark in the opposition box with a stoppage-time attempt at a winner that forced a save from Will Norris
Jayce Fitzgerald (for Ashley 78): NA
More evidence that the young man can play. Looked after the ball.
Not used: Ted Cann, Klaidi Lolos.
Salford (3-2-4-1): Will Norris 6; Will Aimson 6, Ade Oluwo 7, Taylor Allen 6; Brendan Wiredu 6 (Elliott Bonds 78), Joe Powell 7 (Jorge Grant 78); Luke Molyneux 8 (Oliver Turton 88), Kallum Cesay 5 (Dan Scarr 88), Ryan Graydon 6 (Kelly N'Mai 59), Abraham Odoh 6; Macauley Langstaff 6. Subs not used: Lee Burge, Dan Udoh.

Referee: Dean Whitestone (Northampton)
Attendance: 7,528 (381)
Opposition view
"It was a game where we could have scored a lot of goals. The boys never gave up. We went down to 10 men with a red card and then the boys showed their character to create some chances. Eventually, we got the reward with the penalty."
- Ammies boss Peter Cklamovski
