Final PFA chance for past Rotherham United men to land contracts
It’s the 11th and last week of the camps
Former record signing Freddie Ladapo heads a list of Rotherham United old boys still trying to earn deals with EFL clubs a month into the new season.

The 33-year-old striker is one of 45 free agents who has been part of week 11 of the PFA camps designed to bring players to the attention of potential suitors.
Scouts were invited to watch them in action late on Tuesday morning in the final match of the programme in Leicestershire.
Other players with past Millers connections involved in the last camp are goalkeeper Jamal Blackman, right-back Josh Emmanuel, midfielder Josh Benson, winger Arvin Appiah and forwards Andre Green and Kyle Vassell.
Shot-stopper Max Thompson, who had a summer trial with Rotherham, is also a participant.
Ladapo became the Millers' record buy in 2019 when they paid Plymouth Argyle an initial fee of around £400,000 for his services, with add-ons taking the final figure close to £500,000.
He played his part in two League One promotions and scored 41 goals in 123 games before departing in 2022 for Ipswich Town.
His most famous strike came in March 2021 when his spectacular stoppage-time winner sealed a 2-1 Championship victory for 10-man Rotherham over derby rivals Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.
The Londoner has been without a club since leaving League Two Chesterfield at the end of last term.
The most recent Rotherham man of the group is Benson who played 25 times in an injury-hit 2025/26 campaign before being released in May.
A trial with Chesterfield this summer didn't lead to a contract at the SMH Group Stadium.
Vassell played and scored for Rotherham as trialist in a 1-1 friendly draw at non-league Matlock Town in July but quickly left to pursue other opportunities.
The PFA camps - based in Champneys Springs, Leicestershire, where the match took place - have been a big success and a number of players have found new clubs through them.
One of them is ex Rotherham centre-half Angus MacDonald who joined National Kidderminster Harriers.
