Cadogan eager to please

ROTHERHAM United need a spark and new winger Kieron Cadogan is straining to provide it.

Just a week after playing for parent club Crystal Palace at Blackpool in the Championship, the 21-year-old was thrust into the more basic surroundings of Dagenham and Redbridge's Victoria Road ground for his Millers debut.

Despite struggling to get into the game early on, the 21-year-old did enough to show he could provide bullets for the Millers strikers to fire in the quest for desperately needed league points.

Reflecting on his debut, the told the Advertiser: "It was a good game with a good tempo; not that different to the Championship to be honest. I was just a peed off the game got nicked from us but it happens.

"It was back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, but I think I did well. I want loads of game time here and hopefully I'll get better as they go on. The manager believes in me so I want to prove him right.

"I'm quick, I've a good delivery and I can get goals as well so hopefully I can show all that."
