FANCY trying to follow in the footsteps of Rotherham's famous World Cup referee Howard Webb?

The Rotherham FA are arranging a basic referees' course for anyone interested in taking up the whistle.

Referees are urgently wanted by the Rotherham Sunday League and in junior football and Webb himself started his career in the Sunday League.

Anyone interested is asked to contact FA training officers Steve Blincow on 01709 560978 or Philip Clough on 01709 815714.

When the course candidate numbers are known then the date and venue will be announced in January 2011.
