It will comprise Montgomery Court and Montgomery Manor, on Far Field Lane.

In total, it will provide 269 new homes, with between two and four bedrooms.

All have been designed to incorporate energy-efficient features, including advanced thermal insulation.

Sam Wood, Sales Director at Barratt and David Wilson Homes Yorkshire West, said: “We’re proud to launch these developments in Wath Upon Dearne that not only meet the needs of today’s buyers but also enhance the local area with a collection of thoughtfully designed homes.

“We encourage anyone interested to sign up and be among the first to reserve a brand-new home.”

Residents will be close to supermarkets, including a Tesco Extra and Aldi, pubs, restaurants and outdoor attractions such as the Great Moor and Manvers Lake.

Families will benefit from excellent local schools and colleges, including Wath Victoria Primary School, Wath Academy and Dearne Valley College.

Wath upon Dearne Leisure Centre is also on the doorstep, home to a gym and swimming pool. As well as this, Wath Golf Club nearby is set in the tranquil South Yorkshire countryside, and offers a test for all standards of golfers.
