Free expert course offers first aid training for bikers

South Yorkshire Safer Road Partnership is hosting the training course, which will be given by officers from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue and is available to anyone who lives or works in Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield.

It is hoped that the Biker Down training session will help riders finding themselves first on the scene of a collision to use skills that may potentially save lives.

The two-hour session is open to all ages and is held from 6.30pm at the Lifewise Centre in Hellaby and places are available on the next session on July 14.
