ONE Direction singer Louis Tomlinson will be strapping on his boots for a charity football match in aid of Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, next Monday.

The Doncaster-born boyband star’s Three Horse Shoes team will face a Doncaster Rovers XI at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Rovers fan Kian Critchley (6) — who attends the hospice for respite care — will be a mascot for the match.

Dad Tony said: “Kian is over the moon. We’re all big Doncaster Rovers fans so we’re really looking forward to the game.

“Kian met Louis when he visited the hospice last year and it’s fantastic to see that he was touched by his visit and has chosen to support a local charity, we hope that it raises lots of money.

Bluebell Wood is a lifeline for our family and we don’t know what we’d do without it.”

The match is expected to raise more than £10,000 for Bluebell Wood.

Charity chief executive Sarah Champion said: “We’re so excited about the match, lots of our families will be attending and we’re all really proud that Louis is supporting us.

“The money raised will make a massive difference to us and will help us to support more local children with a shortened life expectancy.”

Tickets are on sale from the stadium priced at £5 for adults and £3 for children aged 16 and under. See online at keepmoatstadium.com.
