CLIPPER CLUB: Design a Christmas card competition

CHILDREN are being asked to design the Clipper Club's Captain Jack's Christmas Card and 50 will be printed and presented to the winner.

“IT’S back!

“Once again, I am calling on the Clipper Club gang to design my Christmas card that I, and the winner, can send out to all our friends over the festive period.

“You can draw anything you want – reindeers, snowmen, mince pies, Santa, a manger, the Three Wise Men, elves – the list is endless.

“You can even write a festive message on the front, it’s completely up to you.

“I'll feature as many as I can on the Clipper page over the next two weeks.

“Then on December 2 I will announce the winner who will be chosen by Rotherham Advertiser editor, Andrew Mosley.

“The winner’s drawing will be used on the front of the Advertiser’s Christmas Card and 50 will be printed and given to the lucky winner.

“This is a very exciting opportunity for you to see your drawing transformed into a beautiful Christmas card that you can keep forever.

“Previous winners are Simon Oakton and Honey Chappell.

“So what are you waiting for, start getting creative now.”

Post your Christmas card design pictures to, Captain Jack, Christmas card competition, Brookfields Way, Manvers, Wath, Rotherham, S63 5DL.

The closing date for entries is noon on December 1 2016.
