While Rotherham have little left to play for, apart from the Yorkshire Regiment Trophy, played between the three white rose sides, Leeds desperately need a win to stay in the hunt for a play-off place.

Carnegie were 24-13 winners at Clifton Lane in November, Codling’s first match at the helm, and Sunday’s clash will be another day when there’ll be no old pals act.

In the Rotherham squad are a number of familiar faces to Leeds Carnegie with former players Alex Rieder, Harry Hannan and Lee Blackett at the club as well as Curtis Wilson who recently joined them on loan.

In the Carnegie squad, Ben Harris and Ryan Burrows are both former Titans and in the first game between the sides this season, Burrows was the stand-out player and a try scorer against his old club.
