Veterans remember the fallen 70 years on

VETERANS stood in silence to pay tribute to their fallen comrades as Rotherham marked the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

Former servicemen paraded through the town alongside the current generation of military cadets on Sunday morning in memory of the lives lost in 1940.

A wreath-laying ceremony at the war memorial in Clifton Park followed a Royal Air Force Association dedication to those who served.
