Throughout the day visitors and their carers can access information about issues that are relevant to them.

There will also be a range of heath and fitness activities and the opportunity to work on computers with the help of a volunteer. Liz Booth, chairman of the forum said, “The Older People's Day event last year was a great success with more than 250 people attending.

“We wanted to make sure that we put on a similar event again to keep older people's issue on the agenda."

The event has been supported by Age Concern Rotherham, Voluntary Action Rotherham, NHS Rotherham, Rotherham Links and Rotherham Borough Council. Refreshments are available on the day.
