Rotherham Hospice hosts Christmas fair

MULLED wine, mince pies and hot roast pork sandwiches will be on offer at an up and coming Christmas fair.

The Rotherham Hospice, Broom Road, will host the event on November 20 between 11am and 3pm featuring a performance from Whiston Brand Band.

For youngsters, Santa will have his very own grotto and there will be games and face painting.

There will also be stalls selling a wide range of items from handmade jewellery and bags to festive treats and gifts.

Author, Major Peter Lawless will attend the fair and will be on hand to sign copies of his new book From Miner to Major which tells the story of his 44 years in the military.

The marquee has been sponsored by George Hurst and Sons Limited who are the contractors building the new extension at the Hospice and KP Nuts.
