Midnight walk will back blood service

MULTI-marathon man Ray Matthews is throwing his weight behind a team of blood bikers who clock up the miles to save lives.

The veteran fundraiser is supporting a midnight walk next Friday night into Saturday morning in aid of White Knights Blood Bikes, a vital transport service for blood, medication and medical records.

Walkers will head from the Revs & Relics biker base in Maltby to Roche Abbey and back.

The walk is open to everyone but a torch and clothing suitable for off-road walking are required.

Next Thursday between 10.30 and 1.30pm, members of White Knights will be at Revs & Relics with their bikes and happy to meet the public.

Ray said: “What I want people to know about is all the organisations that could make use of them.

“They are available at all times, come rain or snow.”
