African clergymen meet Rotherham's new mayor
TWO clergymen from Burundi in Africa met with Rotherham’s new mayor during a visit to the town.
Anglican minister Claude and his colleague Israel popped into Rotherham Town Hall during their visit to St Cuthbert’s church in Herringthorpe where they met Cllr Haroon Rashid.
The pair were visiting Rotherham to meet the congregation of St Cuthbert’s and to collect sports shirts and a signed football to help the needy in their home country.
