New jobs as Poundland moves in to Parkgate Shopping
POUNDLAND has created 37 new jobs by opening a store at Parkgate Shopping.
The new store was officially opened by Coronation Street star Samia Smith, who plays Maria Connor in the TV soap.
The budget chain is set to open 50 new stores during 2011 and 2012 creating around 2,000 new jobs nationwide. Their new Rotherham store created 37 vacancies.
