JLS give thumbs-up to Lost Chord's prom fashion show

BOYBAND superstars JLS have given their backing to a Rotherham charity prom show.

The show at Hellaby Hall Hotel on Sunday, March 27 will feature all the latest trends in prom show styles—and raise money for dementia charity Lost Chord.

JLS stars Marvin, JB, Oriste and Aston heard about the event and were delighted to be able to give the show their support.

“You're never too young to support a cause like this, and that's why we're so pleased to be backing Lost Chord and the Prom Show,” they said.

Another celebrity backer of the event is stylist to the stars Jayne Jackson, who will styling hair for models at the day's two catwalk fashion shows and may be on hand during the morning to pass on secrets of achieving that celebrity look for prom night.

Jayne’s celebrity client list includes many of the stars of the soap world, including Coronation Street favourites Michelle Keegan and Helen Flanagan.

“I can't think of a better cause to support than Lost Chord because dementia is an illness that touches so many lives,” she said.

One of the highlights of the Prom Show, which is open to all students in South Yorkshire and their families, will be the fashion show staged by Debenhams Meadowhall and featuring a lineup of young models chosen from schools across the region.

There's also a free competition available on line at www.schoolpromshow.co.uk with prizes including prom dresses and beauty treatments.

The winners will be announced at the show on March 27.
