Firefighters from Rotherham station were called to a deliberate field blaze on Bassingthorpe Lane, Munsbrough just after 12.30pm.

There was an accidental kitchen fire on Hartington Close in Holmes just before 4pm, and an accidental fire involving trees on Stapleton Road in Warmsworth short before 8.30pm.

A pile of furniture on Laudsdale Road in East Herringthorpe was set alight at 8.40pm, and there was a deliberate fire involving a car on Cockill Lane at Stainton just after 9pm.

Firefighters from Rotherham station attended an accidental field fire at 9.20pm on Doncaster Road in Conisbrough, and colleagues from Maltby station went to a deliberate rubbish fire on Lords Head Lane in Warmsworth, at 9.35pm.

A crew from Dearne station was called out to a deliberate fire involving rubbish at 4.20am today on Norfolk Road, Great Houghton.
