Drone pic captures Rotherham in all its snowy glory

Drone photographer Darren Flinders snapped the atmospheric shot on Sunday morning.

He said: “I wasn't intending to head into town, but with how bad the roads were with the snow on Sunday morning, I decided to head there for a coffee.

“The snow had finally stopped falling around 10am, and I decided to just take the drone straight up for a nice looking wintry/Christmassy looking shot of the town as I’d not really seen any aerial shots of it with the snow on the ground.  

“I am more than happy with the results of the shot, and I think it’s turned out better than I expected.”
