Online pictures charting new rehab unit's progess

A HEALTH trust has launched an online photo gallery to keep the public informed of progress on a landmark building.

The new rehabilitation centre at Montagu Hospital, Mexborough, will be the first of its kind when it opens this summer.

The facility will provide intensive therapy, medical and nursing care seven days a week for patients recovering from serious illness or injury.

Pictures taken during construction so far have been uploaded to Flickr by Doncaster & Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Emer Scott, from the communications team, said: “It’s been really exciting seeing the rehabilitation unit start to emerge from its foundations as the steelwork went up.”
