A “fresh and original” take on Cinderella

Panto-Ever-After in association with Barnsley Civic will present a new interpretation of the classic fairy-tale Cinderella.

Panto-Ever-After is an established company that has worked with venues in Market Drayton, Huddersfield, Halifax and Milton Keynes to provide modern and uniquely staged versions of panto classics including Cinderella, Aladdin, Jack and the Beanstalk and Sleeping Beauty.

A spokesperson for the company said: “We are incredibly excited to share ‘Cinderella’ with audiences in Barnsley this Christmas.

“It’s going to be a fun-filled pantomime packed with toe-tapping songs, plenty of gags, and all your favourite characters.

“Let us take you on a magical journey where dreams really can come true.

“Featuring everything you love about a traditional panto – we've got gallons of glitter, a bucket load of laughs, loads of interaction for the kids, and two very grumpy ugly sisters.

“We guarantee this is something for all the family to enjoy.

“Nothing beats the live thrill of watching and interacting with your favourite storybook characters, the 'boos' and the 'hisses', the songs, and the dances.”

Panto-Ever-After's show has been described by The Stage as “a pantomime shimmering with freshness and originality.”

The panto will run at Barnsley Civic from Saturday December 9 until Wednesday December 27 2023.

Tickets for a family of four are £49, adult single tickets £17 and child single tickets cost £13.
