Police officers & properties reportedly pelted with fireworks during Halloween disorder in Eastwood, Rotherham
A group of around 30 people were allegedly involved in the incident
A group of around 30 people threw fireworks at a property and police officers during a disturbance in Eastwood on Halloween night, South Yorkshire Police has confirmed.
Footage circulating on social media appears to show two police cars racing along a residential street as fireworks are set off and objects are thrown in their direction.

Police said officers were called to Selborne Street at 9.34pm on Saturday, October 31, following reports of fireworks being set off.
In a statement, the force said: "At 9.34pm on Saturday (31 October) we were called to reports of fireworks being set off on Selborne Street, Eastwood.
"It is reported that a group of around 30 people were throwing fireworks at a property, causing significant damage to a number of vehicles.
"Officers attended and were subject to fireworks being thrown at them. The group dispersed a short time later.
"No injuries were reported."
Police also confirmed no arrests had been made.
On social media, people criticised those involved, pointing fingers at one section of the community and saying Eastwood was in "Ghetto mode."
The incident comes amid continuing concerns about anti-social behaviour and environmental problems in Eastwood, where residents have been calling for action to improve their neighbourhood.
In July, residents spoke out about fly-tipping, drug taking, public drinking and groups gathering in streets and public spaces.
Rotherham Council has been taking enforcement action against those responsible for fly-tipping.
Figures released in July showed that, over the previous 12 months, investigations into fly-tipping in Eastwood had resulted in 50 warning letters, nine fixed penalty notices and three court convictions.
A Public Spaces Protection Order covering parts of Eastwood, including the Fitzwilliam Road area, was also extended in 2025 and will remain in force until 2028. It includes restrictions relating to public drinking, abusive behaviour, noise and waste management.
