Sessions included mock interviews,  information on Higher Education courses and also an interactive panel with undergraduate students from the University of Huddersfield. There was a briefing on apprenticeships and employability skills from a local college and an activity to help them choose which course at either college or sixth form would be best suited to what they would like to do as a career and the GCSE grades that different options require.

From the recent Book Fair the school received £370 worth of commission for books to keep at school. These books have now been divided between the classes.
