KIMBERWORTH PARK WALKING GROUP: On August 19, 30 members completed a four mile walk via Scholes village returning to St John’s Church via Keppels Column, Scholes Coppice and Barker’s Park.

BARKERS PARK BOWLING CLUB: The club hosted the finals of the 2015 Champions Cup on its greens on August 16. Treeton and Aurora were in the final with Treeton winning the cup. Barkers Park Bowlers were at home to Valley Park D on Monday afternoon in the vets singles. Cherry Roberts won her game. On Monday evening the singles match was away against Tabard in the Midweek League. Mick Parlett and Steve Bellamy won their games. Firbeck were the visitors in the Friday evening doubles match and took all the points.
