Peter Andre heads to Meadowhall for reading record bid

TOP telly celeb Peter Andre will be booking in at Meadowhall tomorrow as he joins an attempt to smash the world children’s storytelling record.

The one-time pop singer, reality TV star, ex-Mr Katie Price and Celebrity Father of the Year will be joined by Rotherham children’s author Peter J. Murray, who writes the Mokee Joe and Bonebreaker stories.

They will attempt to break the record for the most children reading with an adult.

They need more than 4,000 children to take part. Participation is free and children will receive a certificate to mark the day.

Children taking part must be 16 years or under. Children under 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult (aged 18 years of over).
