Call for help naming RAF-themed Rotherham ale festival
The festival is always themed, and the inspiration for the 2020 event is the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
Organisers are keen for festival supporters to get their thinking caps on and dream up a fitting name for the event from February 27 to 29.

A festival spokesman said: “We’re looking for a name that tells the world what the Rotherham Real and Music Festival is all about — something that pays tribute to the brave men and women who took part in the Battle of Britain.
“We’ve had a few suggestions such as ‘We'll bleat again’, ‘Battle of the Bulge’, and ‘Their Finest Baa’ but surely there’s a better option out there?
“It would be great to come up with a theme which pays homage to the 80th Anniversary Battle of Britain — the more creative, the better.

The design contest winner’s creation will feature in all promotional materials associated with next year’s four-day party, which will offer the chance to sample hundreds of ales, wines, ciders and perries, as well as two stages of live music.
Entries should be submitted via the event’s Facebook page or by email to [email protected].
