Barbie mania comes to Meadowhall

'Barbie - You Can Be Anything: The Experience' has opened exclusively at Meadowhall.

Developed by events production company Bakehouse in partnership with family entertainment franchise Mattel, the new immersive attraction offers children a unique opportunity to discover different career options by exploring eight interactive zones inspired by some of the careers Barbie has on her long CV.

Complete with fun challenges and exciting activities suitable for everyone, the specially designed adventure aims to inspire children to explore what it feels like to be a pilot, marine biologist, doctor, artists and much more.

The experience also features hosts to guide visitors through in different immersive zones.

Darren Pearce, centre director at Meadowhall, said: “As Barbie-mania continues to build this year, we couldn’t be more excited that Meadowhall is the destination of choice for this UK-first attraction.

“It’s brilliant to be able to offer such an exclusive and inspiring experience, and we’re sure it will be a huge success.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming many families from across Sheffield and further afield in the coming weeks.”

The attraction will run until January 7, 2024.

Tickets cost from £12.50 and families will also have the chance to purchase photo souvenirs and Barbie merchandise at the end of the experience.
