Socino expected to miss out in home finale

The 22-year-old yesterday put pen to paper for Nottingham in a two-year deal that will see him leave Clifton Lane after just one campaign, the Titans having given him a Championship chance from Welsh backwater rugby.

With Andre Bester concentrating his efforts on formulating next year's squad - although he is desperate to sign off with a win against the Knights - Socino may have to settle for a bench place at best.

"It's disappointing that Juan has chosen to go but there's nothing we can do about that," said Bester. "We will probably assess others in his usual position against Doncaster, although we are determined to end our home programme with a win."

Titans have yet to notch a victory after four play-off games and start time on Saturday is 3pm.
