The Millers have failed to score in all six of their previous trips to Reading, who come into the game fresh from taking the scalp of Premier League West Brom in the FA Cup on Saturday.

Blackwell told the club's website: "They will be cock-a-hoop after that victory and they are a good home side but myself and Neil's last game at QPR was a 1-0 win at Reading in December so if we can emulate that we will be delighted.

"They've got good quality but they're no better than Burnley were and if we get in the same position of still being in the game with three minutes to go then we'll be pleased."

Rotherham are looking to snap a run of six matches without a win, a sequence which has dropped them into the Championship's bottom three.

They are five points from safety with 14 games to go. The team they're hoping to reel in, MK Dons, host Huddersfield tonight.

Kick-off at the Madejski Stadium is 8pm.
