Rotherham United striker Freddie Ladapo up for League One Player of the Month Award

MILLERS frontman Freddie Ladapo has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month Award.

Ladapo scored three goals in four appearances from the bench across 85 minutes to begin February. Having earned a starting berth, he found the target twice more to secure important points against Coventry and MK Dons. The summer signing from Plymouth has bagged 17 goals this term.

Portsmouth defender Christian Burgess, Oxford front man Matty Taylor and MK Dons striker Rhys Healey, who scored a final individual goal in his team's 1-1 draw at AESSEAL New York Stadium a fortnight ago, also up for the February award.

The League One managers' award is between Joey Barton (Fleetwood), Kenny Jackett (Portsmouth), Mark Robins (Coventry) and Karl Robinson (Oxford).

The winners will be announced on Friday.
