Revealed: The names and backgrounds of Rotherham United's trio of fresh trialists
ROTHERHAM United fielded three new trialists as they returned to AESSEAL New York Stadium for the first time since last season.
The League Two Millers played Championship Sheffield United in a summer friendly on home turf on Saturday and defenders Kyle McAdam and Ewan Otoo and striker Bruce Anderson all saw action.

Left-back McAdam started the match before being substituted on the hour mark while centre-half Otoo and Anderson came on after 60 minutes.
McAdam is a 21-year-old who is on Nottingham Forest's books and had League One loan stints with Mansfield Town and Northampton last season. Otoo, aged 23, is a free agent after leaving Scottish Championship side Dunfermline Athletic and fellow Scot Anderson, 27, is looking for a club following his exit from Scottish Premiership outfit Kilmarnock.

"Ewan has been playing left-sided centre-back or left-back, and he can do a job in midfield as well," said Rotherham head coach Alex Bruce. "He's a big, powerful boy."
The trio are all likely to feature in the next pre-season game, at non-league Darlington in midweek, as they bid to earn contracts at New York.
"I'm not making any rash decisions," Bruce said. "I'm certainly not going to make a decision on just one game of football. "I mean, Bruce came on for around 30 minutes, the same with Ottu. They'll be involved on Tuesday night so we can have another look at them.
"There are players being thrown at me left, right and centre, to be honest. It's about highlighting the ones that we think will come into the building and have an impact. We've got two weeks and we'll work tirelessly to make sure we pick the right ones."

The head coach is keen to speed up the Millers' recruitment as the new campaign kicks off a week on Saturday with a Carabao Cup tie against West Bromwich Albion.
Four other trialists - goalkeeper Jake Turner, centre-half Sonny Aljofree, left-back Brandon Williams and midfielder Jez Davies - all had further outings against the Blades.
Bruce will wait to see how the club's recruitment pans out before deciding whether to recommend any of them should be offered deals.
"It depends on what we have and haven't got," he said. "I've got areas of the pitch where I haven't got anybody. I haven't got a left-back, I haven't got a centre-forward. I want to identify the right bodies for the right positions. Once I've got those in place, then we'll see what we've got left to try and strengthen in other areas. We need them (the trialists) to fulfill fixtures at the moment."
McAdam, who has a contract with Forest until next year, played 14 times for Mansfield last term and then made 10 appearances for Northampton.
Otoo, who began his career with Celtic, spent more than three years with Dunfermline, helping them to win promotion from Scottish League On and racking up more than 100 outings.
Anderson spent two years with Kilmarnock after a three-year spell at another Scottish Premiership side, Livingston, for whom he scored 32 goals in 115 matches.
His first season with Kilmarnock saw him hit the target 11 times in 35 games but last term he was on the scoresheet on only five occasions in 42 fixtures.
