Three deliberate car fires over the weekend

FIRE crews dealt with three deliberate vehicle fires across the borough over the weekend.

Aston firefighters were called to the first blaze, at North Anston, shortly after 5.30pm on Saturday. They were at the scene on Cramfit Road for about 90 minutes.

Dearne firefighters dealing with another car fire were at Common Lane in Wath for just under half an hour from 6.55pm yesterday.

And an Audi A4 was deliberately set alight at 9.10pm on Rotherwood Crescent in Thurcroft. Firefighters from Maltby station were there until 9.50pm.

Dearne station firefighters dealt with a fire involving a bush at Broomhill in Denaby Main at 2.25am today.
