Strongest man in Yorkshire crowned at Rotherham Show

STRONGMAN Mariusz Pillinski was crowned the strongest in Yorkshire as bodybuilders battled it out in soaring heat at Rotherham Show.

Mariusz refused to let the heat affect him as he lifted a barbell weighing more than 18 stone over his head and lifted Atlas stones weighing more than 25 stone onto a 5ft-high platform.

England’s current strongest man Paul Smith and Mark Felix, who appeared in the World’s Strongest Man competition, helped manage the competition.

Rich Jones was crowed the winner of the under 105kg bodyweight competition.
