The event has been organised by the Karen Murillo, who runs the Karen Murillo School of Dance, in partnership with her husband Armando—a member of Son Para Todos.

Karen said: “Hopefully we can bring all things Latino to the Montgomery Hall on Saturday night.

“My husband and I have a partnership named Maicu for professional dance and music productions.

“This is one of our latest ventures to launch a slice of Latin America in the Dearne Valley.”

The dance school, which is based in Hoyland, also recently performed Dance Showcase at the Church Street venue.

The first-ever collaboration of its kind united dance schools from across the Dearne Valley and helped to raise funds for the Wath Festival which took place earlier this month.

Karen added: “The show combined the talents of many dance schools in the Dearne it was a pleasure to work with all the teachers.

“Hopefully this will now be on-going as it was in support of Montgomery Hall and the Wath Festival.”
