Finance Yorkshire gives £1.m grant to aid firm's expansion
S3 ID has been granted £1.1 million which will help the company to continue to offer a range of solutions which improve personnel safety and security in the oil, gas, petrochemical and energy sectors.
The major investment from Finance Yorkshire’s Equity Fund will enable S3 ID to maintain the controlled expansion it has experienced over the last three years resulting in the development of several new innovative products.

Hide AdS3 ID has also acquired further patents gained in new strategic sales regions around the globe.
S3 ID, which also has regional offices in Norway and Singapore, has developed a unique product range from its experience of serving the on-shore and off-shore oil, gas and energy industries.

Finance Yorkshire helps a range of small and medium sized businesses to meet their funding requirements for growth and development. It provides seedcorn, loan and equity linked investments, ranging from £15,000 to £2 million.
The project is supported financially by the European Union. It has attracted £30 million investment from the European Regional Development Fund as part of Europe’s support for the region’s economic development through the Yorkshire and Humber ERDF Programme.
Some £15 million came from Yorkshire Forward’s Single Programme and £45 million match funding from the European Investment Bank.
