Search mounted to find missing teenager who is eight months pregnant & has links to Rotherham & Sheffield
17-year-old Kiera is eight months pregnant and police are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare
A search is underway to find a missing pregnant teenager who is believed to have travelled to South Yorkshire.
Kiera, aged 17, was last seen at around 10.25am on Thursday (October 15) in the Withington area of Manchester.
A missing from home investigation was launched by Greater Manchester Police.
Their initial enquiries suggest that Kiera has since travelled to South Yorkshire, and the investigation has been handed over to officers from South Yorkshire Police.
Kiera is known to frequent the Greasborough area of Rotherham, Sheffield city centre, and Meadowhall.
A force spokesperson said: “It is not known what clothing Kiera is currently wearing.
“She is described as a girl of mixed race, with very long brown hair.
“Kiera is also currently eight months pregnant.
“Officers are becoming increasingly concerned around Kiera's welfare and are urging anyone who may have seen her or know where she is to come forward.”
