Police remain on the scene after reports of shooting in Clifton, Rotherham
This was the scene this morning, as police remained on the scene after reports of a shooting in a South Yorkshire home.
A police car remained on Middle Lane, Clifton, in Rotherham, earlier this morning, as detectives from South Yorkshire Police continued their investigation into the incident.
A damaged door had been boarded up, and blue and white police tape, which yesterday cordoned off a nearby convenience store, had been removed.

The only remaining police tape was blowing in the light wind, no longer blocking off the property.
South Yorkshire Police have been approached for an update on their investigation.
They said last night that they had arrested two people.
Police were called at 11.01pm on Monday night following a report of a gunshot being heard.
Specially trained firearms officers were deployed and officers say they found evidence consistent with a firearms discharge inside a property in Middle Lane.
Yesterday officers arrested two 26-year-old men on suspicion of possession of firearms with intent.
Following the reported firearms discharge, a man in his 40s suffered a minor injury not believed to have been caused by a firearm.
