Police search Rotherham address following Ann Widdecombe murder suspect arrest
Officers surrounded the home at around 9pm last night
Crime scene investigators in white suits are searching a Rotherham address today over the alleged murder of Ann Widdecombe.

Police arrested a 28-year-old man on Saturday night (July 11) in connection with the former Conservative MP’s death in Dartmoor earlier this week.
Today, officers have swarmed an address on Byrley Road, near the junction with Burgen Road, Kimberworth Park, and a cordon has been in place since around 9pm yesterday.

A Tactical Support Unit van and two police cars are guarding the cordoned-off mid-terrace house.
Neighbours told The Star police surrounded the house at around 9pm on Saturday night.
Officers were reportedly seen leaving the house earlier today with “bolt cutters and chains.”
Devon & Cornwall Police said in a live conference earlier today that they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the alleged killing.
In addition, there is reportedly no indication that the attack was politically motivated, terror related, or that there is a wider risk to the public.
