Avant Homes announces 173-home development in Waverley is 85 per cent sold
Housebuilder Avant Homes has announced that 85 per cent of the new homes at its £49m, 173-home Sorby Park development in Waverley, Rotherham have been sold.
Located just off Hawes Way, the development comprises a mix of three-, four- and five-bedroom practically designed, energy-efficient homes and features 20 of Avant Homes’ house types.
Prices for the remaining homes at Sorby Park start from £269,995 for a three-bedroom semi-detached Ripon house type.
The largest of the properties is a ‘four-bedroom plus’ detached Darwood, so called as it has an additional upstairs room offering flexibility as a live/work area, priced at £454,995.
Selected plots at the development are also available with a range of incentives. These include part exchange, five per cent deposit contribution, £10,000 deposit paid and My Move Made Easy, where the housebuilder will help a buyer sell their existing home.
Of the remaining homes, the Darwood is a strong example of Avant Homes’ ability to deliver practically designed, energy-efficient homes that suit the needs of modern living.
On the ground floor, the Darwood features a large open-plan kitchen, dining and living room, with two sets of French doors leading out to the garden.
