Former health facility to be transformed into respite care home and day centre

A VACANT health facility will be brought back into use as a respite care home and day centre.

Plans from Blossom View Respite Unit have been approved for the former Millennium centre behind BreathingSpace, off Badsley Moor Lane in Clifton.

The residential element would comprise ten beds, and the proposals include the construction of a 15-space car park and railings around the premises.

During the day, there will be five care staff on site, with four employees there overnight.

Staffing will be increased where residents require one-to-one care.
