Tumble dryer fire in Dalton

Two crews from Rotherham and Maltby stations were called out to Chesterhill Avenue, Dalton, at 8.15pm.

The fire service confirmed there were no casualties and they believe the incident was accidental.

Crews left the scene at 9:20pm.

Maltby firefighters attended a deliberate fire involving conifers at 9.10pm on Flanderwell Lane, Sunnyside.

They left the scene 20 minutes later.

Rotherham station crews were called to a deliberate rubbish fire at 1.30am on Centenary Way, Canklow, this morning.

The fire was put out within ten minutes.
