New store opens - with some special guests

A NEW store has been opened with the help of a minion and a bear.

Home Bargains’ new store, the company’s second in Rotherham, is at Unit 3 Gate Park on Great Western Way, Parkgate.

The store opened last Saturday and has created up to 50 new jobs.

The company believes that around 2,000 customers visited the business on the first day.

Stuart, one of the minions from the popular Disney films Despicable Me and Minions, was on hand to entertain the customers, as was the Haribo bear, known as Gold Bear.

Home Bargains has invested £500,000 in the new store.
