Comedy out to make chasing money funny

A NEW comedy from John Godber comes to the South Yorkshire stage this weekend.

Following their successful UK tour of Godber’s Bouncers, Reform Theatre Company return to the The Barnsley Civic on Friday with Debt Collectors.

This relatively new comedy piece from one of the nation’s favourite playwrights, author of international hits Bouncers, Up ‘n’ Under and Teechers, mixes money and love with the love of money, as two out of work actors fall into the world of debt recovery.

It’s a role they despise but a job they were made for, and they are desperate for cash.

But all is not what it seems in this hilarious comedy of unpaid bills, offers of sex and boozy bailiffs.

Debt Collectors is at The Civic on Friday at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £12 full price and £10 concessions. Recommended for ages 14+
