Lionesses look to roar at NYS

ENGLAND’S Lionesses can be sure of fantastic support when they run out at the AESSEAL New York Stadium tonight for their Euro 2017 qualifier against Belgium.

Sales had already topped 10,000 by yesterday and a near capacity crowd is expected come kick off time at 7.55pm because of the opportunity to turn up and pay on the night.

Head coach Mark Sampson said: “Rotherham did a wonderful job when they hosted the FA Women's Super League Continental Tyres Cup Final. The stadium has excellent facilities and we know it will be a great location for the qualifier and the Lionesses fans will be out in force to support the team.”

Millers chairman Tony Stewart added: “There is huge interest in this fixture and we are honoured to have been chosen for such an important game in the England Women's calendar.”
