Howard Webb lands World Cup final
ROTHERHAM referee Howard Webb will take charge of Sunday’s World Cup Final.
The Millers fan and South Yorkshire policeman will take control of the game between the Netherlands and Spain in Johannesburg, which kicks off at 7.30pm.
Fifa confirmed his appointment shortly after 5pm.
It was thought that top-rated ref had been overlooked after he failed to take charge in either of the competition’s quarter-final clashes earlier this week.
