Two in three hours: Another midfielder joins Rotherham United

ROTHERHAM United have made their second midfield signing in a day by bringing Jamie Jellis to AESSEAL New York Stadium.

Just three hours after confirming the arrival of Ossama Ashley, the Millers announced the capture of the 25-year-old former Walsall man.

Jellis spent two seasons with the League Two Saddlers and has an impressive fitness record.

He made 100 appearances for Walsall and played in the 2025 fourth-tier play-off final against AFC Wimbledon.

Rotherham, who are a League Two outfit themselves following last term's relegation, are beginning to ramp up their recruitment.

They have now added four fresh faces to a squad depleted by a raft of summer departures and more business is expected in the next week.

Jellis, who played for a number of non-league sides before making his EFL breakthrough with Walsall, has signed a two-year deal.

He was a free agent after departing the Bescot Stadium in May.
